Running Kontera – Adsense together
by Fernando Hal (cheatad.com)
If you are starting out making money from your website and wondering whether you can run Kontera together with Google Adsense, the answer is, Yes, publishers are allowed to run Kontera ContentLink Ads together with Google Adsense on the same page.
Google prohibits advertisers from running Adsense with competing ads that look similar with Adsense ad links units, while Kontera is a contextual text-link advertising which adds hyperlinks to your site contents. Even though both are contextual based, they don’t look similar and so is allowed to run together.
However, I personally feel that it’s pointless. Kontera provides only a tiny fraction of what Adsense pays, actually it’s ridiculous to add another annoyance to your visitors. (Read Kontera sucks)
Here are some links of discussions about running Kontera – Adsense together.
If you insist, I’d recommend trying Infolinks instead. See the comparison for Kontera vs Infolinks.

This is bound to happen. Interest for Infolinks has spiked up while Kontera is going down. I guess the amount of money matters too much, specially for savvy webmasters whose vote can change in a matter of few clicks. From nowhere, Infolinks has now match Kontera in term of number of Google search. It will be only a matter of time before Infolinks takes over Kontera in term of number of search as well as number of publishers.

I have recently registered a site LadangHarta.com and after 3 days of putting some content, it is still not indexed yet. In my previous experience, all my sites are indexed almost immediately after the first post. This is particularly embarrassing as the main highlight of this site is for SEO training.
Checked into Google [...]
