Adwords has a tool for searching for the highest paying phrases and keywords. This can be used in the manor you are talking about. But it seems kind of clunky and dated. I mean the highest paying word combo in tech is Wide screen Monitor and next phrase is wide screen tv. but really, no one is looking for this info any more. maybe about 2-3 years ago it was true, but the traffic just doesn’t show for those words anymore.
Elexa is a great tool for many things. i can’t figure out mozrank and compete though.
BTW your Alexa rank is far above average. 80 k is unbelievable for just a dude.

Frankly I’m not really a keyword fanatics. As long as I get general idea of what keywords that bring in visitors, that’s enough.
Yeah Alexa rank seems good. 80k. But really, I got a site with more than 50x traffic, but Alexa rank 100k. Go figure.
I use desktop tools like WebCEO. But online tools are more usable as the companies who run those services, update them frequently.
