Top Three Things Your Blog Should Not Have
Blogging is one of the most productive ways to spend your time online. You enjoy blog-hopping and mostly subscribe to your favorite blog sites. But, you might as well be wondering why some blogs are popular and yours remain unnoticed. Well, there are so many factors that affect blog’s popularity in this blogging industry. One of which is that your blog either entails less interesting topics or non at all.
There are of course the do’s and the dont’s in blogging. A blogger should always maintain what he has positively started and quit the not-so-good blogging strategies. Well, here are just three of the many things that a blogger should avoid to have in his or her blog.
3. Long and Irrelevant Posts
Long and irrelevant posts tend to be boring at any cases. Most readers enjoy posts that contain LISTS. Good bloggers know how to get their audiences taste. Lists are not boring, and besides, they give us straight-to-the-point information unlike those longs posts that bore readers to death. You seriously don’t need long and irrelevant posts on your blog. Bloggers are not born to bore readers.
2. Unrequested Media Files
Nobody listens to your background music in your profile or in your website. Putting an unrequested media file in your blog or site usually destructs readers. Imagine someone very busy reading your posts then suddenly an annoying background music sets in and worse yet, they don’t know how to deactivate it. Well, in these cases, background music in your blogs is not helping. It could scare away readers and leave them unhappy. Nobody enjoys your tons of pictures, well, unless it’s a private blog and you enjoy it yourself. Remember that your objective is to attract readers of what you write about, not on the every photos you put in your side bars – again, if it’s a private blog, then it’s okay.
1. Plagiarized Content
Plagiarized content is the biggest No-no when it comes to supplying content. Remember that plagiarism a crime – a federal crime, and an academic suicide. Stealing the idea of other people doesn’t even make one look smart, instead it would only look your blog cheap and unreliable. There are proper ways to avoid plagiarism. And every blogger should know it by heart.
These are just three of the hundred things that your blog should not have. Long and irrelevant posts, unrequested media files, and plagiarized contents are the things that you need to avoid when putting up a blog. Don’t forget to eliminate all these unnecessary things from your blog in order to keep the visitors coming and let them leave your site satisfied.
