Hi Yang,

That's certainly an interesting observation.

1) Complicated? I would phrase it as "powerful" instead. lol. Anyway, it is actually ready to run out of the box without any additional tweaking.

2) Don't really get this one. I didn't find anything suspicious on my meta description. Oops... I don't have one. Might try later.

3) That's where the settings come in. There is a setting called "Help promote Yet Another Related Posts Plugin?" under "Display options for your website". Just untick the box and the self-promotion is gone.

Hope you find this useful. Will certainly appreciate if you let us know which related-post plugin is your personal choice.

This plugin sucks.

1) It's too complicated and things too complicated tend to go wrong, either with itself or with the other components.
2) It tries to modify the meta description of all my blog posts and don't offer an option to switch it off.
3) It blatantly promotes itself by placing a backlink to the author's site at the end of EVERY of my blog posts. This is simply stupid considering there are a ton of "related posts" plugin for wordpress and I don't know anyone who would not delete it.
