With Google rolling out Google Checkout (known also as GBuy, Google Purchase, or Google Wallet ) next week, one question lingers. Will Google integrate Checkout to AdSense payment?
Publishers has long requested Google to add Paypal as a payment option for AdSense, in addition to the cheque or direct bank transfer option currently available. The answer up till now is NO. But with Checkout, we might finally see the light.
If Google tie it up with AdSense, publishers will be able to transfer payments direct to their Checkout account, and use it to make payment, say to the webhosting providers.
As part of Yahoo - eBay partnership last month, Yahoo has agreed to bring Paypal as a payment option for Yahoo Publisher Network (YPN) publishers.
PayPal will be integrated and promoted as Yahoo!’s payment solution to Yahoo!’s merchants and publishers, which includes the Yahoo! Publisher Network, Yahoo! Search Marketing, Yahoo! Merchant Solutions and other small business services.
